Edinam (pronounced eddie-nam) is purchased
directly from sawmills in the Ivory Coast, Ghana, Congo and Cameroun by
Hogan Hardwoods International. Edinam's color is a dark reddish brown.
The wood works easily with both hand a and machine tools but tends to
tear during planing or moulding due to the interlocked grain unless the
cutting angle is reduced to 15º. Edinam is also known as Tiama. |

This species is
imported directly from sawmills in South America by
Hogan Hardwoods International. Imbuia's
heartwood is yellowish-olive to chocolate brown with variegated
streaks and stripes. It is easy to work with both hand and power
tools, offering only slight resistance to cutting edge, and
finishes very smoothly. |

Cherry. Jatoba is an excellent choice for flooring. This species is
Brazil and is imported from Brazilian sawmills by
Hogan Hardwoods International. The color is
russet to a bright reddish-brown, sometimes with a golden glow. |
